Beginning July 1, 2010 and until Sunday, February 20, 2011, registration will be available online for the 2011 Publix Super Markets Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K & 5K and Gasparilla Half Marathon & 5+3K. To take advantage of Online Registration, you must have a MasterCard, Visa or American Express and please note, that Service Fees will be charged.

15K - $30 until January 21, 2011; $35 January 22 - February 20, 2011
5K - $25 until January 21, 2011; $30 January 22 - February 20, 2011
5K Walk & Stroller Roll (5 yrs & Over) - $25 until January 21, 2011; $30 January 22 - February 20, 2011
5K Walk & Stroller Roll Kids (4 yrs & Under) - $15 until January 21, 2011; $20 January 22 - February 20, 2011
Half Marathon - $60 until January 21, 2011; $75 January 22 - February 20, 2011
5+3K - $25 until January 21, 2011; $30 January 22 - February 20, 2011
Michelob Ultra Challenge - $160 until January 21, 2011; $175 January 22 - February 20, 2011

- Half Marathon & 5+3K on Sunday, February 27, 2011
Beck's Light Challenge - $125 until January 21, 2010; $140 January 22 - February 20, 2011

If you register by mail or online, you MUST pick up your T-shirt and packet during the 8 On Your Side Health & Fitness Expo being held at the Tampa Convention Center – East Hall on Friday, February 25, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and on Saturday, February 26, 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.

On or before February 13, 2011, a Registration Confirmation will be sent via email to all of those who registered for the 2011 events and provided a valid email address. When received, please confirm that all information (event entered, name, address & age) is correct. Please note that bib numbers will not be assigned until the first week in February.

If an email address is not given, a confirmation will not be provided, but may be viewed by clicking the Check Registration link.

2011 Rules and Requirements

Age Requirements:

Half-Marathon: At least 14 years old

15K: No age restrictions

5+3K: No age restrictions

5K: No age restrictions

Race numbers and ChronoTrack Timing Tags are required for all races.

Refunds or transfers of registration are not allowed in the Publix Super Markets Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K & 5K or Tampa's Gasparilla Half Marathon & 5+3K. If you are unable to run the race you registered for due to medical reasons, you may downgrade to a shorter distance. There is no charge for downgrading, however, you will not receive a refund for the difference in entry fee. If you require a race change, you MUST contact the race office via writing (email or us mail) by January 30, 2011. If you participate in a race you are NOT registered for, you will NOT be eligible for overall and age group awards.

If you need to make a change in your registration, please submit a request to the GDCA office via email: gdca.information@verizon.net. Race registration changes will not be made over the phone.
