ONLINE LATE REGISTRATION FOR THE

15K, 5K, 5K WALK & STROLLER ROLL,

MARATHON & HALF MARATHON WILL REMAIN

OPEN UNTIL SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2010.

Registration is available online for the 2010 Publix Super Markets Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K & 5K and Tampa's Gasparilla Marathon, Half Marathon & Marathon Relay. To take advantage of Internet registration, you must have a MasterCard, Visa or American Express and please note that Service Fees will be charged.

If you register by mail or online, you MUST pick up your T-shirt and packet during the 8 On Your Side Health & Fitness Expo being held at the Tampa Convention Center – East Hall on Friday, February 26, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and on Saturday, February 27, 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.

On or before February 14, 2010, a Registration Confirmation will be sent via email to all of those who registered for the 2010 events and provided a valid email address. When received, please confirm that all information (event entered, name, address & age) is correct.  Please note that bib numbers will not be assigned until the first week in February.

If an email address is not given, a confirmation will not be provided, but may be viewed by clicking the Check Registration link.

2010 Rules and Requirements

Age Requirements:

Marathon: At least 16 years old

Half-Marathon: At least 14 years old

Team Relay: At least 14 years old

15K: No age restrictions

5K: No age restrictions

Race numbers and ChronoTrack Timing Tags are required for all races.   

Refunds or transfers of registration are not allowed in the Publix Super Markets Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K & 5K or Tampa's Gasparilla Marathon, Half Marathon & Marathon Relay. If you are unable to run the race you registered for due to medical reasons, you may downgrade to a shorter distance. There is no charge for downgrading, however, you will not receive a refund for the difference in entry fee. If you require a race change, you MUST contact the race office via writing (email or us mail) by January 31, 2010.

If you are registered for Tampa's Gasparilla Marathon and have a medical condition or injury that will prevent you from running, you MUST contact the race office via writing (email or us mail) by January 31, 2010 to request a race change (marathon to half marathon - you will not receive a refund for the difference in entry fee) or deferment. If you participate in a race you are NOT registered for, you will NOT be eligible for overall and age group awards.

If you need to make a change in your registration, please submit a request to the GDCA office via email: gdca.information@verizon.net. Race registration changes will not be made over the phone.
