 * If you would like a seeded number for the 15K or 5K event, please send a written request and PR race times with your mail-in registration form.  DO NOT register on-line if you desire a seeded number.

Tampa's Gasparilla Marathon Open Prize Purse

In the hope of assisting with the development of Florida athletes, the Gasparilla Distance Classic Association is proud to announce a Florida Prize Purse for the 2008 Gasparilla Marathon on Sunday, March 1. The Florida Prize Purse will total $12,000 and will also include an Incentive Bonus Purse in the amount of $9,000.

2009 Gasparilla Marathon Incentive Bonus Purse

· Florida Males* finishing 2:30:00 or under

• $1,500 bonus (limited to three athletes)

· Florida Females* finishing 2:55:00 or under

• $1,500 bonus (limited to three athletes)

* Only US citizens with primary residence in the State of Florida and are eligible to compete as in USA International competition or the Olympic Games are eligible. Substantial proof of Florida residency will be required (valid driver license / voting card / income tax filing, etc.) before the awarding of Prize Money.
